On February 17th, 2009 the lights will go out on analog television. At this time all television stations will no longer be broadcasting in analog and will be convertering their television to a 100% digital signal. The DTV transition is a government orcastrated event that is suppose to benefit all consumers. Digital TV has promised to give consumers better sound and picture quality.
